TERMS AND CONDITIONS
RESERVATIONS We require all new clients have an initial interview before any service begins and for the necessary paperwork to be completed in full. After an initial interview, we set up your client account. This allows us to confirm your schedule with you and to make future reservations. We offer several ways to schedule services with Tails R A Waggon. 1. Phone reservations - may be made directly by contacting Tails R A Waggon at 253-227-2775. Reservations will need to be made directly with our office and not your pet sitter. This ensures that we have proper documentation on file and your dates on our calendars. 2. Email reservations – All email requests will be answered within 24 hours. To request new reservations or to change or cancel an existing reservation, please email us directly at carey@tailsrawaggon.com. Email requests must be made directly with Tails R A Waggon and not your pet sitter. Reservations are on a first come/first serve basis. We make every effort to satisfy your pet needs but there may be times when our schedule is at maximum capacity. It is recommended that you contact our office directly to confirm that you are scheduled. PAYMENT · All pet sitting services are a prepaid service. We accept cash and personal checks. For vacationing/business trip clients, payment must be made in full prior to your pet sitter’s first visit of scheduled sits. We will invoice you by email at the time of your reservation. If you do not have an email address, the invoice will be mailed and payment is due before pet services are commenced. · If you prefer, you can mail your check in advance of services. Checks should be made out to: Tails R A Waggon and mailed to: 9008 188th St. E. Puyallup, WA 98375. · Payments not received at the time service commences may be subject to a fee of $25.00. · NSF checks will incur a fee of $35.00. HOLIDAYS · There is a Holiday surcharge for each major Holiday of $10.00. Holidays are as follows: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Father’s Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day. KEY TRANSFERS · If you are unable to provide us with a copy of your key at the initial consultation there is a $3.00 fee to pick up your key prior to service. We also charge $3.00 additional fee if you request that we return your key after service has concluded. We do not recommend or endorse leaving your key outside in an area that you feel is hidden. We will not be held responsible for your home or pets should you choose this method. Otherwise, we will be happy to keep your key coded with no identifying information to your address and secured in our locked security system should you utilize our services in the future. There is no extra fee if we keep your key(s). CANCELLATIONS · Cancellations for dog walks must be made via telephone no later than 24 hours prior to service. Otherwise, you will be charged the full fee. · Cancellations for pet sitting must be made via telephone no later than 7 days prior to when service was to start. If cancellation is made less than 7 days, you will receive a 50% credit to be applied towards future services. SAME DAY SERVICE · We do our very best to accommodate clients with same day service requests especially when emergent situations or late work schedules arise. However, we are unable to guarantee that we will have a slot available. PET CARE · Please have plenty of food, medications, collars/leashes, potty bags, potty pads, litter and household cleaning supplies available for your pet sitter. · Written instructions are required for all pets receiving medications. · We make every possible effort to make sure your service time is met. Due to circumstances beyond our control (i.e., traffic, weather, pet illness, etc.) we may need to adjust your appointment time accordingly. In the event that the scheduled time has changed, we will notify you via the journal that was provided to you at your initial consult. Please refer to your pet(s) journal for daily log information from your pet sitter. · We recommend that you notify your veterinarian that Tails R A Waggon is caring for your pet(s) while you are away. Proof of vaccinations, licenses and pet carriers are required for all pets. · It is the owner’s responsibility to make sure that all fences, latches and doors are pet proofed both inside and out. It is always recommended that your pet wear an id tag or be micro chipped. · Unfortunately, we are unable to provide service if your dog has any KNOWN aggression or bite history. · We do not service pets outside of the same family during your scheduled visits. · We are not held responsible for injuries, expenses, damages or any pet or house related incidents that arise when others are involved with visiting your pet or working in or around your home during your absence. It is required that you notify us directly if there is going to be any other person(s) on your property while your pet is in our care. |
